This hobby specialty and residence located just outside the town of Sonoma was designed by local architect Lars Langberg Architects. The clean lines of the main house / shop and studio flow seamlessly into the natural food forest garden. The home is surrounded by a small boutique vineyard and gardens providing year-round habitat while enhancing the health of both the local environment and the vineyard. A mix of succulents and California natives were used to anchor the architecture and simultaneously accent the simple lines of the structures to provide a soft and interesting interface. Careful, subtle grading allowed us to move and percolate rainwater concealed through the site.
